Discount Best Blinds and Shutters provides custom window treatment services for residential and commercial properties across Sonoma County and surrounding areas. Our services include:

• Free in-home and on-site design consultations with fabric samples and product demonstrations
• Precision window measurement performed by our installation team
• Custom ordering of window treatments from Hunter Douglas, Hartmann and Forbes, Conrad, and other manufacturer partners
• Professional installation of blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and motorized window treatment systems
• Post-installation support, adjustments, and warranty service coordination

All services are provided by Discount Best Blinds and Shutters, owned and operated by Phil D. Skikos, from our location at 2790 Santa Rosa Ave, Ste 100-B, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.

Free Consultation Policy

Discount Best Blinds and Shutters offers complimentary in-home and on-site consultations at no cost or obligation. During your consultation,Phil D. Skikos will bring fabric samples, demonstrate product options, measure your windows, and provide a detailed written quote. There is no charge for this service and no obligation to purchase. Consultations are available throughout our service area, including Windsor, Healdsburg, Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Novato, and surrounding communities.

Ordering and Payment

Once you approve your window treatment selections and written quote, the ordering process begins as follows:

• Deposit - a deposit is required at the time of order placement to initiate production with our manufacturer partners. The deposit amount will be specified in your written quote.
• Balance Due - the remaining balance is due upon completion of professional installation.
• Payment Methods - we accept cash, checks, and major credit cards.

All custom window treatments are made to order based on your specific window measurements. Due to the custom nature of our products, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Please review your selections and measurements carefully before approving your order.

Installation and Workmanship Guarantee

Discount Best Blinds and Shutters guarantees the quality of our professional installation work. If any issue arises with our installation within the first year following completion, we will return to your home or office and resolve the issue at no additional charge. This workmanship guarantee covers mounting hardware, bracket alignment, operational functionality, and the overall fit and finish of the installation.

Product Warranties

Window treatment products we install carry manufacturer warranties provided directly by the respective manufacturers. As an authorized Hunter Douglas dealer, Hunter Douglas authorized dealer, and Hartmann and Forbes authorized dealer, we facilitate warranty claims on your behalf. Key warranty coverage includes:

• Hunter Douglas - limited lifetime warranty on most product lines, covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
• Hunter Douglas - separate manufacturer warranty on motorization components, motors, and control systems
• Hartmann and Forbes - manufacturer warranty on natural fiber shades and woven products

Warranty terms and coverage vary by product line. Phil D. Skikos will explain the specific warranty applicable to your selected products during your consultation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Discount Best Blinds and Shutters Window Coverings shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific products or services giving rise to the claim.

Discount Best Blinds and Shutters is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturer production schedules, shipping carriers, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will communicate proactively about any expected delays affecting your order.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sonoma County, California.
